2026 is a really special year for Baozai Friends.

It honestly feels a little surreal to say that to be honest. Baozai Friends only began in the middle of 2025 as a small cozy idea, a few characters, and a dream of creating something gentle and comforting. And now, here we are in 2026, getting ready to grow Baozai into a whole little world.

Here’s what’s coming…

Founding Friends - New Ambassador Program Coming Soon

We’re opening a small and gentle community called Founding Friends, the very first ambassadors of the Baozai world.

Founding Friends are cozy hearts who help welcome new collectors, share shelf rituals, and shape the future of Baozai. They’ll receive early access to new plush friends, early access to the Discord community, sneak peeks, voting opportunities, and special Founding Friend gifts.

This program will be limited and it marks the beginning of Baozai as a true community, not just a store. The ambassador program will be based off of three pillars: belonging, community, and lore access.

 

New Plush Friends - Cozy Waters Series

We’re welcoming new plush friends into the Baozai family with our Cozy Waters Series a collection of calm, water-loving animals designed for rainy days, tea time, studying, and slow living.

Meet gentle new friends like:

• Yuzu the Lemon Duck
• Pierre the Pancake Platypus
• Momo the Melon Capybara

Each Cozy Waters friend will be their own collectible character, complete with matching enamel pins, stickers, and acrylic charm keychains so you can bring your favorite friends with you wherever you go.

Each friend will also come with their own personality and story just like the previous Baozai Friends series!

 

Founding Friends Blind Boxes

Coming soon, we will be releasing our very first blind box collection Founding Friends Blind Boxes! Each mystery box contains one surprise mini Baozai friend! The following Baozai Friends featured are:

• Ichigo the Strawberry Frog
• Bobo the Bao Bear
• Shorti the Strawberry Shortcake Cat
• Yuzu the Lemon Duck
• Pierre the Pancake Platypus
• Momo the Melon Capybara

These tiny plushies are made for collecting, trading, gifting, and cozy unboxing rituals!

 

Baozai Closet: New Wearables

Baozai Friends is stepping into wearable cozy with the launch of our Baozai Closet.

You can look forward to soft, comfortable items like bucket hats, socks, and tote bags featuring your favorite Baozai friends! We will also include pins and stickers of the Baozai Friends bucket hats.
